Cake Tester

See our range of Cake Testing skewers to test and see if the cake you are baking is baked to perfection. Simply slide the cake tester into the centre of the cake. If the skewer slides out clean then the cake is fully baked. If some residue remains on the cake then you need to give the cake a little longer in the oven. As a tip always test a few areas especially the deepest part of the cake then you have a better idea of how well the cake is cooked overall. Please not cake testers only work on cakes. To test bread simply turn upside down and knock on the base. If the bread sounds hollow then its ready.
