Stir Fry Pan
Stir fry pans offer a good alternative to a wok type cooking at home where you don't have a wok burner. Woks have rounded bases and are designed to sit on and be surrounded by flames. The bottom of the wok gets hot and the food needs to be flipped and stired in order to cook the food evenly. This is a slower process than using a stir fry pan. A stir fry pan has a generous flat base that sits better on most hob tops. It has one long handle for ergonomic use of flipping and stir frying food. Stir fry pans usually feature non stick or anodized steel interiors, and heat quickly. They grab and hold the heat for beautiful stir-frying, and the generous size and slope of the sides sends food flipping merrily about.
